According to reports, Frank Ocean had an ankle injury during his Coachella on-site rehearsals, which led to several last-minute modifications to his headline performance on Sunday.

According to reports from Pitchfork, Ocean hurt his ankle while practising for his show on the festival grounds. Doctors "advised Ocean to take pressure off his ankle by changing his production for the show," according to Pitchfork. This led to several changes to his stage setup, including the removingircular platform and catwalk from his performance.

According to a source close to the performance, Ocean's set initially called for including figure skaters on an ice rink, according to Rolling Stone. A now-expired Instagram Story by Loyola Marymount University ice hockey player Aaron Vos from the festival's backstage area had numerous men wearing skating gear with the message, "The Boys x Frank."

It's unknown how badly Ocean's ankle hurt or whether he will fully recover in time for his Coachella Weekend 2 headlining performance.

Frank Ocean's concert and Björk's will not be streamed on Coachella's official YouTube channels, which sparked outrage online only hours before he was scheduled to perform live for the first time in six years.

'Novacane', his Blonded Radio release 'Come On World, You Can't Go!', 'Crack Rock', 'Bad Religion', and 'White Ferrari' were the first songs Ocean played during his hour-late start to his Coachella headline concert.

Fans' reactions to his performance were mixed after announcing that the festival had reached its curfew limit, and his set was cut short. Others criticized the artist for arriving late and cutting his set short, while others appreciated Ocean and the concert for its surprising remixes and Ocean's vocals.

In other parts of his set, Frank Ocean made album hints. It's been so long, but he continued, "I've missed you." I want to discuss my motivation for being here because there isn't one currently, but that doesn't mean there won't be one in the future.
