Former President Donald Trump hosted Nick Fuentes and Ye, then known as Kanye West, for dinner at his Mar-a-Lago property on Tuesday evening, according to an ABC News source who was also present.

Giorno confirmed to ABC News that Trump met with Ye, who recently lost big commercial deals due to antisemitic sentiments, and Fuentes, along with Florida Republican political operative Karen Giorno. The supper lasted somewhat less than two hours.

Fuentes, a white nationalist who has made anti-Semitic, racist, and misogynistic remarks, has been banned from all major social media networks.

Trump blogged about the meeting on his social media platform on Friday, stating he was unaware that Ye would be bringing other guests, but omitted Fuentes.

"The week prior, Kanye West invited me to dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly appeared with three of his pals, whom I was unfamiliar with "Trump posted on Truth Social, his social media platform. "Tuesday evening, many members gathered on the back terrace for dinner. The supper was brief and unremarkable. They thereafter left for the airport."

A source at the dinner told ABC News that Ye asked Trump to be his vice president during the meal and that, towards the end of the night, the former president "began badmouthing Kim Kardashian," Ye's ex-wife.

In a statement to ABC News, former President Trump stated, "Kanye West wanted to visit Mar-a-Lago very badly. Kanye and I had planned to have dinner alone, but he arrived with a visitor I had never met and knew nothing about.

Trump's meal with Fuentes and Ye takes place just weeks after he declared his candidacy for president in 2024.
