Brazil is soon going to be the world highest COVID-19 death toll country and could meet the toll of US as the country’s death toll reached to 50,659 on Monday.

The increasing number of coronavirus cases now has reached to 1,086,990 and will be 2 million very soon, according to health officials as cases are increasing day by day.

In recent weeks, Brazil has reported upward of 1,000 new deaths a day from COVID-19.

Some health officials has predicted that if it goes on same way, the death toll of the epidemic in Brazil could surpass than that of the United States by late July.

President Jair Bolsonaro’s response to the crisis has been widely criticized as he has dismissed the danger posed by the virus, sabotaged quarantine measures adopted at the state level and called on Brazilians to continue working to keep the economy from collapsing.
