After he suggested beheading Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray, a Twitter account for a podcast run by former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon was permanently suspended by the social media firm.

Bannon said Trump shouldn't just fire Wray and Fauci, he should dismember the government officials "as a warning to federal bureaucrats," speaking on his "War Room" podcast.

"Actually, I would like to go back to the ancient times of Tudor England," said Bannon in a bizarre rant.

I would have put heads on pikes. As a warning to federal bureaucrats, I would put them in the two corners of the White House, either you get with the program or you're away,' he added.

Twitter said in an email that after Bannon's rant, they "permanently" suspended Bannon's @WarRoomPandemic account.

A spokesperson for Twitter said in a statement, "The @WarRoomPandemic account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our policy on the glorification of violence."

After being arrested by federal authorities in August and hit with fraud and money laundering charges for an alleged scheme to bilk donors from an online fundraiser called We Build the Wall, Bannon is out on bail.

Bannon pleaded not guilty to the charges brought in the Southern District of New York and claimed that they were a "fiasco" by people who wanted to prevent the construction of a border wall.
