A retired Israeli general has stated that mankind has already made contact with a "Galactic Federation" and not just with aliens.

Speaking to one of Israel's most popular news outlets, 87-year-old Professor Haim Eshed, Yediot Aharonot, claimed that most of mankind had been unaware of the contact because the world was not considered ready for the news.

For 30 years, Professor Eshed has been running Israel's national space security program and has received the Israel Security Award three times.

He claimed US President Donald Trump was on the verge of revealing to the world the existence of aliens, but he was pressured not to do so by the "Galactic Federation"

Despite this secrecy, Professor Eshed said that aliens and US scientists were working together to unravel the mysteries of the universe on an underground base on Mars.

Professor Eshed claimed that now he was only disclosing this data because he had built the academic reputation to support it.

"If I had come up with what I'm saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized," he said.

Professor Eshed did not present the news outlet with any proof of communication with aliens.

In April, three videos of unidentified aerial phenomena were released by the Pentagon, but it noted that the term 'UFO' did not necessarily refer to suspected alien encounters.

The supposed revelations have not been commented on by either the US or the Galactic Federation.
