At an all-virtual Davos forum on Monday, Chinese President Xi Jinping warned the world leaders against a 'new cold war'. He pointed out the emergence of international unity.

Xi said, "To build small cliques or start a new Cold War, to reject, threaten or intimidate others … will only push the world into division."

The words are believed to be aimed at Joe Biden's new strategy to counter growing China's influences. Joe Biden however did not attend the meeting busy at the domestic affairs in his early days at the White House.

Xi urged about the necessity of an open world economy and the necessity of rejecting the exclusionary standards. He also said rejections and exclusions will take the world in any right direction.

Xi also assured about Chinese plans to go Carbon Neutral by the 2060s and slashing it to 65% before that in 2030.
