Everton registered a historic victory on Saturday defeating Liverpool 2-nil at the home.

In a league match on Saturday, Everton defeated Liverpool for the first time since 1999. 

Everton currently sit at the 7th of the table with 40 points from 24 games. Liverpool, who have the equal point to Everton, are at sixth with 40 points playing a game more.

Richardson scored in the third minute giving Everton an early lead. Gylfi Sigurdsson scored in the 83rd minute which assured a 2-0 victory for the visitors.

In the other games on Saturday, Full have beat Sheffield United 1-0, while Burnley played a goalless with West Brom.
