In the Philippines, a second wave of Covid-19 cases is placing the healthcare system under new strain.

After Indonesia, the nation has the second highest number of cases in Southeast Asia.

A devastating recession has driven thousands into the streets in search of food, resulting in one of the world's longest and toughest lockdowns.

Over 18,000 people have already lost their lives in Philippines with more than a million Covid cases.
