US Tsunami System has warned of a possible Tsunami threat following a 7.1 magnitude earthquake.

According to the USGS, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Port-Olry in Vanuatu.

According to USGS, the quake occurred at a depth of 91 km, about 20 km northwest of Port-Olry. 

The local authorities said that a tsunami warning is meant for the areas located within 300 km of the epicenter of the quake.  The Damage following the quake is being accessed.
