Thursday, R. Kelly's former goddaughter testified against the R&B icon in court, claiming he had "hundreds" of sexual encounters with her while she was a minor and forced her to pose as a prostitute to silence her.

During the fourth day of the singer's federal child pornography trial, the now-37-year-old woman known only as "Jane" detailed how Kelly videotaped himself having oral sex with her at his home in Chicago when she was 14 years old.

She told the Chicago Tribune that the discredited singer offered her Champagne, commanded her to refer to her genitalia as "14 years old," and then urinated on her.

In another video from approximately the same time, she testified that Kelly is shown handing her money before having intercourse with her in his wood-paneled jacuzzi room.

When a prosecutor asked Jane why the celebrity had given her money, she fell into tears on the stand.

"Because if anyone saw the tape or if for some reason it was released, he would say I was a prostitute," she explained.

Jane claimed that the Grammy-winning singer had intercourse with her "numerous" times afterward, often in the presence of other underage females whom Kelly had asked her to recruit.

Two additional juvenile victims are anticipated to testify against Kelly later in the trial. Jurors also expect to view video recordings of the celebrity engaging in sexual activity with youngsters.

Prosecutors suspect that the singer compensated Jane and her family to prevent her from testifying in his 2008 child pornography trial. In the end, he was acquitted in that case.

The 55-year-old Kelly is currently facing a 13-count federal indictment, which includes child pornography and obstruction of justice accusations.

In June, he was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison following his conviction on nine counts, including racketeering and violations of the Mann Act, in Brooklyn federal court.

Many victims testified at Kelly's trial in 2021, during which the prosecution portrayed him as a "predator" who preyed on his youthful admirers and sexually assaulted them for decades.
