Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos rejected the proposal made by his club management regarding the contract renewal.

His contract will expire at the end of the current season. Negotiation between Ramos and the club management hasn't reached at a positive point.

The Real Madrid defender is not happy with the club's proposal to extend his contract. The club is planning to reduce wages of players to fight against the economical crisis due to COVID-19.

Reports show that offer made by club includes renewal for a year with same salary, or two years with reduced salary by 10%.

If Real Madrid fails to renew contract with Ramos, then he is free to speak and agree the contract that would be effective from July.

Ramos is not satisfied with the offers made by his club and is eyeing to join Ligue 1 Giants Paris Saint German(PSG) at the end of the season. He has already informed about his future at PSG to the club president Florentino Perez to which he responsded positively that he will consider if there is a good offer.

PSG has also targeted FC Barcelona's star Lionel Messi and "is trying to build the most dangerous European team".  Barcelona's star striker Lionel Messi Messi was nearly bade farewell to Camp Nou at the begining of the season.

According to several reports , PSG has already informed Ramos about signing him along with Messi "to build the a great Team.
