Reports say the upcoming iPhone will look almost identical to its predecessor except it will have a thinner notch. Japanese site Macotakara reported, citing its sources in China, the new iPhone will retain the iPhone 12's chassis with the flat edges, but will be approximately 0.26mm thicker and will reduce the size of the notch.

MacOtakara writes, "According to information from Chinese suppliers, the next iPhone 13 series will continue to adopt the four-product housing design of the iPhone 12 series. The height and width do not change, but the thickness increases by 0.26 mm, sources say. Regarding the rear camera, it seems that the protrusion of the lens cover part disappears like the iPad Pro 2021."

"The receiver at the top of the display has moved to the last minute at the end of the enclosure, making the TrueDepth camera thinner", MacOtakara cites its sources.
