Twitter Inc said that it has suspended more than 70,000 accounts linked with QAnon Conspiracy. QAnon is a pro-Trump far-right conspiracy movement.

Following the riots at the US capital, Twitter started to permanently suspend the accounts that shared such contents.

Twitter said that it is removing the contents which can potentially "lead to offline harm" from its platform.

QAnon's theory sounds really bizarre as it believes a global group of cabals is plotting to overthrow President Trump. QAnons say that a cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles is running a global child sex-trafficking ring which plots against Trump.

Twitter found several people propagating the conspiration through their platform.

"Since Friday, more than 70,000 accounts have been suspended as a result of our efforts, with many instances of a single individual operating numerous accounts,"  Twitter spoke person said on Tuesday.
