Cristiano Ronaldo breaks another record as he provides Man United with a Champions League victory

Ole Gunnar Solskjær's Manchester United has defeated Villareal in the UEFA Champions League match. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the late final goal in Wednesday's game to give United a 2-1 victory over the Spanish club. 

Alex Telles scored for United in the 60th minute while Ronaldo scored the deciding goal in the 95th minute of the match.

Paco Alcacer put Villareal in the lead by scoring in the 53rd minute.

With this match, Ronaldo has now become the player to play the most (178) games in the history of the Champions League. He had previously equaled Iker Casillas' record of 177 games.

Ronaldo is also the highest-scoring player in the Champions League. He has scored 136 goals so far.
